Shame on Me!!
I can't believe...It's been almost a month since I posted last! Shame on me!! Well, here is the scoop as to what has been going on ( in no particular order)....
1.) I purchased my FIRST order of Scor-Tape!!! (yes, scor-tape) WhooHoo!! I ordered it from Becky's Craftroom from ebay. (www.stores.ebay.com/Beckys-Craftroom). Fast, fast service, loved her customer service plus I could not find a better price than what she was offering....so head on over there!! Thanks Becky!!!
2.) I attended a sale called Crafters Delight last weekend. It was a fundraiser for a fellow crafter of 40+years was liquidating everything due to ill health. They had a little bit of everything! Plus other crafters had donated items as well. All one had to do is bring a brown paper grocery bag and fill it up for $10.00!! I got there late but this is what I purchased...

- I also purchased one of those Dyno Label Makers (it came in the case with a several tape refills)
- The brown checkered boxes that say "Believe" actually have 2 other heart shaped boxed inside.
3. I tried my hand at my first mixed media canvas project!! I was and still am so excited!! I still have to much to learn but it was so so so much fun!! I made it for my sister in Orlando. She is going to be syked! Oh and all of the flowers are handmade by me!!
Well, that about wraps it up!! I know...a long post...what can I say? Thanks to everyone who has joined or just peeked at my blog and or my youtube channel. (baybeegirl1965) Your support is greatly appreciated.
Also a huge thank you to my Lord and Savior! Just for life!! In it's entirety!!

chit-chatting & sharing a little bit of this, that& a video......
Though this part of the post is late...I did recently attend the 2013 CK Scrapbook Convention (Creating Keepsakes) in Hampton, Virginia. I HAD A BLAST! It was my very first Craft/Hobby Convention and I think I may become a convention junkie! -heeheehee- I did meet up with an extremely nice, hilarious and very crafty lady along with 2 of her friends! Again....I HAD A BLAST and am ready for another!
The other day: Now I'm not boasting/showing off or anything but my daughter....bless her heart...has RAK'd (random act of kindness) me with A Kindle Fire HD!!! I am so excited!! The first time we talked about Kindle (period) was when she purchased hers years ago. Her job takes her here and there; sometimes for long periods of time so she reads a lot! Which was very surprising at the time because I think she almost hated to read as a teen! LOL. Anyway...please watch the video below. It will explain the story.
Today: I went to Tuesday morning expecting to find a case for my Kindle Fire but ended up in the craft section!! Now, how many of us have done that???? hahaha!! All I know is that it's time to do another crafty project!
Well, gotta run for now and I hope you liked the post and enjoyed the video.

My Very First Swap...YAY!!
(ok, so this is a late post...sorry) Hi there all! Just dropping in to share with you my latest crafting adventures. It is my first altered swap with a fellow YouTube friend of mine name Lisa (Scrapin2010). She is such a nice person and I appreciate her for so many things concerning this swap. She is also a very talented lady. I hope that she likes the box. (including a few goodies)
Because of my shear excitement of this being my first swap EVER and my very first balsa box.....all youtube-crafting-swaping-etiquette....went out the door. So of course, I forgot to send a card also. This is why the video is mostly reading. Anywho...my apologies to whomever nerves I plucked by not adhereing to the etiquette. It's a process and I'm sure I will make many more mistakes along the way - so be ready to laugh or be mad. lol. Well, bye for now and continue to Be Exceedingly Blessed!!!
For the swap, it was also, my first Altered Wooden Balsa Box. Anyway, I covered the box with designer cardstock, inked the edges & smudged a little paint here and there. All of the flowers were handmade, homemade.....ok, I made them all! lol. They were inked, embossed, painted, glimmered, shimmered and shaped. Whew a mouthful!
Overall, I am pretty pleased with my Altered Balsa Box. I am definitely going to make some more but not quite sure about the swapping part. Here is the YouTube video I made of the completed balsa box.

This is just a small note to welcome all of you into my world....that gives me a peace of mind. I hope that, as you tag along with me, that you will find something that sparks you in some way or another. Maybe even an Aha moment here and there. I will write more about me in my next post. Until then...~ Be Exceedingly Blessed~
