A Small Yet Big Update!

Hello everyone! Yes, it has been a long time!

So many changes have come about in the past few months! 

Lots of change!!!! Lots of good and some, not so good. I think the

most difficult was informing the people, in my immediate circle

(whether on a personal note or otherwise), 

what was going on. Didn't quite go well on many accounts. 

Anyway, I'm not going to hash out all that here but I am sure

that many of you get the gist. Hopefully, one day, those folks will be able

to whole heartedly embrace the decision. If not, I still love you anyway. : )

During the process, I've had a spiritual renewal, moved to a whole

different state and turned 50 last weekend - WhooHooooo!! 

(are we suppose to tell our age?) lol! 

Continuing to be exceedingly blessed and I hope you all do too!!

Good morning and hello to all! Just wanted to shout out that I will soon be planting my feet in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area near the end of June - yes, this month (shouting WhooHoooooo!!!, (as I hold up my white flag ~surrendering while embracing THIS journey.) lol. 

Who knew it would be so much "crazy" involved in reinventing oneself, new life; new beginning, selling your home AND moving to another state AND before I hit being 1/2 century old!! Whew!! I am exhausted; at times overwhelmed but am oh so excited! During this season, of my life, GOD has really been showing out! (The opposition has too but you know, GOD RULES!!) Lots of good changes coming but how many of us have experienced CHAOS before the BLESSING?!!! : ) Now moving forward to the crafty/creative talk....

So since I have pretty much packed up EVERYTHING, I am going through withdrawals of not being able to see & utilize "MY STUFF" for over a month now!  I feel like I just need to go to the store and get some traveling crafty items (at least some paint, paper, scissors,colored pencils, etc.) Does that sound crazy or what? My Ultimate Crafter's Companion is in one of these boxes. Does anyone else have one of these?

 I see, I will be just in time for the Stamp Scrap Art Tour (July 11th - July 12th, 2015) & Art of the Carolina's (November 13th-15th, 2015), I can't wait ! Hopefully I can meet up with some folks & plan to meet up at one of these events or otherwise. Until later and Continue To Be Exceedingly Blessed!

Life changes!

Hello Hello Hello! I feel so awful!! I have not been dedicated to this blog like I was suppose to. Life happens I guess. Sugah is now almost 2 years old (October 2015)!! I know; time flies! : ) I have a granddaughter (Gianna Noel- born February 2015)!! She is so gorgeous. I love her to the moon and back! Because of work/life schedules and with the relationship strain between my daughter-in-law and I....I don't get to see her a lot. One day, MAYBE, she won't hold so much against me and make me feel some kind of way. I don't believe in having a tug of war with children. Until then....moving forward. I will leave that situation in God's hands.

On moving forward....My children have very blessed grown up lives and now it's time for me to move forward too. I am in the process of moving from where I am to another state!! So, yes, that means selling my house. Honestly, I think it's more work to sell your home than to purchase one. lol. Stressfull!! I am on the last end now. Just waiting for the title part to clear and then it's closing time! WhooHoo! This whole process has been exciting, on edge, hurry up then wait, melancholy, to OMG what am I doing to...I am really starting my life over somewhere else (WhooHoo) to I am really starting my life over somewhere else? LOL. All mixed up, right?

Through it all...in trying to keep my emotions at bay, I know that God is in control of it all. Overall, I trust HIM and where he is leading me. My siblings and parents (though we all live in different states from one another) have been very encouraging in this move. Oh and one of my BFF's, Lisa, has been awesome! Well, that's all I have for now. Continue to be exceedingly blessed and we'll talk soon!

A new being in my house....since Christmas 2013

I forgot to share that my daughter decided she didn't want me to be alone in the house so....this is the gift she got me for Christmas.

His name is Sir Langston Sugah Bear aka "Sugah"
He's a Yorkie and this is what he looked like before I took him home.

It's been a while but NEWSFLASH!

I know, I know, it's been, quite some time, since I last blogged. Life happened. So many changes. Still doing it. But the biggest news today is......(drumroll please)...I am now a CTMH Consultant!!! WhooHoo!!! Yay! Do I sound excited? I am! Am I nervous? Sure am! lol. Not sure what CTMH is all about.....go to http://shennitaenglish.ctmh.com

Shame on Me!!

I can't believe...It's been almost a month since I posted last! Shame on me!! Well, here is the scoop as to what has been going on ( in no particular order)....
1.) I purchased my FIRST order of Scor-Tape!!!  (yes, scor-tape) WhooHoo!! I ordered it from Becky's Craftroom from ebay. (www.stores.ebay.com/Beckys-Craftroom). Fast, fast service, loved her customer service plus I could not find a better price than what she was offering....so head on over there!! Thanks Becky!!!

2.) I attended a sale called Crafters Delight last weekend. It was a fundraiser for a fellow crafter of  40+years was liquidating everything due to ill health. They had a little bit of everything! Plus other crafters had donated items as well. All one had to do is bring a brown paper grocery bag and fill it up for $10.00!! I got there late but this is what I purchased...

- I also purchased one of those Dyno Label Makers (it came in the case with a several tape refills)

- The brown checkered boxes that say "Believe" actually have 2 other heart shaped boxed inside.

3. I tried my hand at my first mixed media canvas project!! I was and still am so excited!! I still have to much to learn but it was so so so much fun!! I made it for my sister in Orlando. She is going to be syked! Oh and all of the flowers are handmade by me!!

Well, that about wraps it up!! I know...a long post...what can I say?  Thanks to everyone who has joined or just peeked at my blog and or my youtube channel. (baybeegirl1965) Your support is greatly appreciated.

chit-chatting & sharing a little bit of this, that& a video......

Though this part of the post is late...I did recently attend the 2013 CK Scrapbook Convention (Creating Keepsakes) in Hampton, Virginia. I HAD A BLAST! It was my very first Craft/Hobby Convention and I think I may become a convention junkie! -heeheehee- I did meet up with an extremely nice, hilarious and very crafty lady along with 2 of her friends! Again....I HAD A BLAST and am ready for another!

The other day: Now I'm not boasting/showing off or anything but my daughter....bless her heart...has RAK'd (random act of kindness) me with A Kindle Fire HD!!! I am so excited!! The first time we talked about Kindle (period) was when she purchased hers years ago. Her job takes her here and there; sometimes for long periods of time so she reads a lot! Which was very surprising at the time because I think she almost hated to read as a teen! LOL. Anyway...please watch the video below. It will explain the story.

Today: I went to Tuesday morning expecting to find a case for my Kindle Fire but ended up in the craft section!! Now, how many of us have done that???? hahaha!! All I know is that it's time to do another crafty project!
